First win for Grady
The Tankman’s Heywood Pony Cup was a great night for Grady Hutchesson winning his first race and taking out the Heywood Cup on Pamela. Grady confessed that he had not spent much time training his pony this week but it was still good enough to see him home ahead of Willow(Abbey Gull) and Pumpkin( Emma Greenfield). Pumpkin was not on her best behaviour and was relegated to third for excessive galloping. Grady received a pony rug for his win. Frankie under Fire for Matthew Shepherd put in an improved performance to finish fourth and a win is not too far away. The Mount Gambier Pony Gold Cup winner failed to fire, finishing out of the placing’s from Slim Dusty (Stacey Barker. Run Jemma Run (Josh Micallef) found the pace too hot to finish ahead of Snoopy (Kylie Shepherd).
