There was only a field of three in the first race which was held in very warm conditions.  Born To Be Wild driven by Jennifer Lehmann jumped to the front early and led all the way to defeat the well-behaved Aadelaidee Lady who was driven tonight by Chantelle Rendall replacing Madison Smith who was unavailable.  The pair of newcomers Reggie Ledgie and his young driver Cameron Jacques were both having their first race start and took out third placing.

As they said go in the second race Magpie Mary took off with a pig route but settled down trotting quickly.  For the first 200m all the ponies were sticking together nicely before the field started to break up.

Turning for home Way To Go was in the lead but Wynkie Sweet Fairytales was getting closer on the outside and always looked the winner before kicking away and winning by a few lengths.  Way To Go held on for second ahead of the early leader Mr Murphy.  This was Chantelle Rendall's first win on Wynkie Sweet Fairytales and she was very happy.

There was a false start in Race 3 when Crackerjack was eager to get home and took off before the starter had said go.  In the second start Crackerjack took off galloping and whilst Kaycee Carey restrained him My Little Pony took advantage and jumped to the front.  Turning for home with Crackerjack hot on My Little Pony's tail it was always going to be a two horse race but Crackerjack proved too strong and held on to win by a length with a good effort by Wandarra Tess taking out third placing after coming off the 80m mark.
