BRETT LOWE

Brett will retire at the end of this season as he will turn 16 in May, he is currently undertaking Certificate 3 in Racing Advanced Stablehand with Joe Scaffidi.  Brett is aspiring to be a trainer and driver as were his dad (Allan Lowe) and uncle (Sydney Lowe).

The family have decided to retire Billy the Kid and Sundance from racing after this season as they have competed in pony racing from season 1995/1996 and are now both aged 20.  They were driven in the early seasons by Brett's brothers Craig and Shane Lowe.

Both ponies have been very successful and have over 45 wins and 100 placings between them.  They have numerous trophies and Billy the Kid was Slow Shetland of the Year in 1999.  They have both had success in championship races.  They have also been involved in the Crows pony challenges and other special races.

We wish Brett all the best for the future.
