In front of a big crowd the Open Class took to the track first. With a field of eleven facing the starter. When the flag went down all ponies trotted safely with Born To Be Wild in the lead from Little Kizz, So What, Chocolate Thunder, Aadelaidee Lady, Cowboy Road, Summer Surprise, Aussie, Lapanacaton, Mr Mischief and Wynkie Sweet Fairytales.
Coming around the last bend Born To Be Wild was still holding the lead but was soon challenged by So What who took over the lead and went for home. Summer Surprise started her run from the back. Half way up the straight Summer Surprise and So What went side by side to the finishing line, it was a battle between the two greys with So What just holding on by a small margin.
The final results were 1st So What and Jennifer Lehmann, 2nd Summer Surprise and Cheyenne Moritz and 3rd Mr Mischief and Bailey Hoare.

The next race of the night was the Shetland class with a field of eight taking to the track. When the stater said go PJ was the early leader from Razzle Dazzle, Pee Wee 50, White Lightning Jessiefoss, Midnight Star, Crackerjack and the back marker Wandarra Tess.
All ponies were trotting nicely coming around the bend at Norman’s Gate where White Lightning, Crackerjack and Wandarra Tess made their moves from the back. Coming down the straight Wandarra Tess took over the lead, White Lightning got into second for Annalyse Brewin who was having her first drive and Crackerjack was still making up ground down the outside.
The final results were 1st Wandarra Tess and Jacinta Gilbert, 2nd White Lightning and Annalyse Brewin and 3rd Crackerjack and Kaycee Carey.
