Coming down the straight
Magpie Mary and Kaycee Carey
It was a comfortable night with quite a few spectators. Coming down the home straight it was a line of three with last week’s winner, Magpie Mary on the inside, Westbury Bogart in the middle and Aadelaidee Lady coming around the outside. Kaycee Carey’s morning started off well with her Driver Profile being read out on 5RPH Harness Racing Show and then with a close finish looming Magpie Mary holding on to win making it back to back wins. It has been an exciting week for Kaycee. Aadelaidee Lady stood at the start and lost considerable ground so it was a good effort for her to flash home and finish 2nd for Madison Smith and the very consistent Westbury Bogart, Jacinta Gilbert finishing third.

Mr Murphy crossing the line ahead of Mr Mischief
The second race for the night was won by Mr Murphy with Mr Mischief a newcomer to the Medium Class chasing home hard. Way To Go finished 3rd ahead of Little Kizz who beat her mother Megalight which was having her first start many years.

Swamp Fire and Nicholas Brown
Swamp Fire gave Nicholas Brown his first winner for the season after starting off the 450 metre mark made every post a winner to hang on by a length to beat My Little Pony and another length back to Till We Meet Again. Well Done Nicholas.

Little Paleface and Emma Johnson
Due to a presentation for the 2009 Kindergarten Stakes it was an hour gap to the final pony race tonight.
The field was nicely
bunched with a gap back to the fast class pony Cheeky Charlie. Coming down the straight Petti Cheval
was on the inside, Little Paleface in the middle and Chilli Knights racing
wide, but Emma Johnson didn’t want her brother to get all the praise tonight and
joined him in winning with Little Paleface ahead of Petti Cheval 2nd and Chilli Knights 3rd.
