It was a nice warm night at Port Pirie with 5 ponies and 3 drivers attending the meeting.
We would to thank Port Pirie Harness Racing Club for inviting the ponies and drivers to their meeting and a big thank you also goes to Rehn Nagel who did a magnificent job in calling both races.
Thank you to everyone who made trip up either bringing the ponies/drivers and just in general.
All ponies received a ribbon and a petrol voucher courtesy of Port Pirie Harness Racing Club.

With the late scratchings of Wandarra Tess and Midnight Star left a field of 3 ponies taking to the track. All ponies trotted away nicely with Mr Mysterious out in front from Cowboy Road and Jimmy Cricket.
Mr Mysterious came into the straight first with both Cowboy Road and Jimmy making heaps of ground from their marks, with about 15 metres to go Cowboy Road raced up on the outside of My Mysterious and went on to win by 5 metres from My Mysterious in 2nd and Jimmy Cricket came 3rd.

The next race only had a field of 3 in it. Wynkie Sweet fairytales was a late inclusion for Chilli Knights, Mr Mischief replaced My Mysterious and Cowboy Road decided he wanted to race twice.
When the flag went down Cowboy Road trotted to perfection out in front from Wynkie Sweet Fairytales and Mr Mischief. Cowboy Road still had a nice lead over the other two ponies and went on to win by 15 metres from Wynkie Sweet Fairytales in 2nd and Mr Mischief finishing 3rd.
This gave Cowboy Road and Shay Lines-Lee a winning double. Well done!!
